Technology transfer in the field of biomedical simulations is discussed in BAS

TTWorkshop Biomedical simulationsThe Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, BAS (IICT) organized a workshop on technology transfer in the field of biomedical simulations. The purpose of seminar is to present recent results relating to biomedical simulations and specific applications. The event will begin at 1:30PM on December 4th 2014 (Thursday), in IICT- BAS (str. "Acad. G. Bonchev" 25 A).

During the event will be presented specialized medical software for visualization, segmentation of medical imaging and simulation of the flow of blood in the blood vessels, as well as virtual simulator for clipping process of brain aneurysms. Furthermore, results related to computer simulation of radiofrequency ablation and analysis of text in large repositories of medical records of patients will be presented.

Professor Svetozar Margenov, directore of the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, will open the seminar. Presentations will be given by professor.
